Meet Zizumi, the rising artist carving out a lane of his own in today’s music landscape. Born Za’Charius Hughes, the Huntsville native blends raw emotion, unapologetic lyricism, and an unmistakable voice that sets him apart from the crowd. With an upcoming EP slated for release in early July, Zizumi is ready to make a lasting impact on the game.

Music has always been part of Zizumi's DNA. “From CDs in my dad’s car to waking up to music on cleaning days, it was always around me,” he shares. That early exposure laid the foundation for a sound that is both personal and powerful—music that speaks truth, with no filter.

What truly separates Zizumi from the pack is authenticity. “When it comes to me being me, you can tell who’s on the mic,” he says. And he proves it with standout lines like the hard-hitting lyric from his track Tucker:
“Nggas ain’t on sht, btch ain’t on sht either, fck her / Playing with my time so I don’t really fck with either.”
It’s a blunt, bold expression of his no-nonsense mindset—and a testament to how he channels life into bars with fearless honesty.

Zizumi’s vision stretches far beyond Huntsville. “I want to achieve a reach that nobody else from where I’m from has on people,” he says. “I have a broad approach when it comes to music, and I’d like to think my audience will feel that and love it.”
