Rising Artist EAZAY Turns Trauma into Triumph with Upcoming Album FORGIVEN FRUIT

Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and raised between the vibrant streets of his hometown and the soulful roots of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Izaeah Washington, known to fans as EAZAY, is carving his own lane in the music world. His story is one of resilience, creativity, and a deep desire to uplift others through his art.
From an early age, EAZAY was captivated by the rhythm of breakdancing and the emotional power of music. “I see music as something that heals your soul and brings joy to the world,” he says. “It’s the best way to help people get through life. I enjoy helping others and seeing others succeed with me.”
That selfless mission is woven into his sound—music that blends raw emotion with unique sonic textures. EAZAY isn’t afraid to confront the pain of his past. Having endured significant personal trauma, he channels those experiences into his work, offering his audience not only music, but also a pathway toward healing.
One of his most striking lyrics comes from the track Plague of Blood on his upcoming album:
“I’ll let you die of thirst and I can give you my worst
I’ll send you to hell in a hearse and I can bring hell on earth”
It’s a testament to his willingness to address the darker parts of the human experience—without losing sight of his goal to bring light to others.
EAZAY’s latest project, FORGIVEN FRUIT, is set to drop August 29, 2025, with Spotify pre-saves launching August 15. The album promises to be an unflinching exploration of personal trauma, resilience, and unity. “If it succeeds,” he says, “I hope people will reach out to give me feedback and we can help each other succeed and heal.”
As his fan base grows, EAZAY is determined to build a community of active followers who share in his vision of music as a tool for connection and empowerment. “I want my music to uplift people and unite people,” he emphasizes.
